Ever feeling hateful towards someone annoying? Get Bloom Busters to play with. Main purpose of this game is to squash as much monsters as you can. Squash squash squash! Treat the monsters as your enemies and you will be relieved after playing it. Muahahaha!
Visit Bloomland, the farm of two loving couple: Jimmy and jessie. The neighbor Mr Zorg is a strange isolated person and he worked on getting all the monsters out to eat the whatever Jimmy has at his farm: vegetables, fruits and animals. Protect them from all the annoying creatures. Once you get into the beating mood, they are really annoying as more and more of the ugly monsters will appear. You can either squash them at near distance or put out a water hose at them if they are at a distance place.
Collect the valuables like rings, diamonds, hearts as they are points and power ups. Click once to get to the things you want to collect and double click to get the speed up the walking pace. But when I double click, I still feel that the walking speed is still slow. This makes the games challenging as the monster comes at a faster rate.
Bring the cabbage and apples that you grow to the right spot. While doing that, guide your vegetables and fruits from the monsters. These creatures really enjoyed themselves and have a great time when they manage to hurt your plants or animals. Different types of monsters like those pink colored ones and creature called lemon face are what you need to look out for.
In Bloom Busters, there are 3 modes of play, Easy/ Medium/ Hard. The one at Easy is really too simple. So I change the mode to Medium. Well, I tried to click on Hard but it says that need to pass through 20 levels of Medium first before can change to Hard. The first two levels are pretty simple. More multitasking are needed when coming to deeper levels. Plant the seed, water the plant, collect it, place it at the right spot, feed the animals with the vegetables.....and keep an eye on the baby plants, away from the hungry creatures.
The story line is not detailed and the game structure is pretty simple. Just keep squashing and squashing. Repetitive and have so many click on the mouse. Good if you would like to treat it as your sand bag to actually beat it on your imaginary enemies. Haha! Try Bloom Busters out when you in the mood.

Battlestar Galactica is easily one of the best shows on television right now. Of course, it always helps to have some of the prettiest and most visually poetic space battles seen in a long time. Sadly, the same cant be said of Battlestar Galactica, the Xbox Live Arcade and downloadable PC game. All the complexity of the series has been ditched for a frustrating and twitch-heavy arcade experience.
Based loosely on the first three seasons of the show (right up to the exodus from New Caprica at the beginning of season three), Battlestar Galactica lets you fly as a Colonial fighter pilot in a variety of craft. These include the Viper Mark II (the "classic" Battlestar fighter), the more modern Viper Mark VII, the Raptor multirole vehicle, the Blackbird stealth fighter, and even a Cylon Raider. While the handling characteristics vary a bit among craft, the basic premise of the game remains the same: You fly in a 2D space combat arena, using missiles and guns to shoot down enemy craft.
Granted, its an arcade game, but Battlestar fans were probably looking for a bit more depth than what is here. It doesnt help that much of the gameplay feels frustrating and unforgiving. When you get in a dogfight, it feels like every enemy craft is gunning for you, even if there are a half dozen other Colonial aircraft in the immediate vicinity. Battles involve usually flying straight toward an enemy craft then firing missiles and guns before you overshoot. Then you turn around and repeat the process all over again. You take damage quickly, though there are health power-ups that literally bounce around the level until someone flies over and picks them up. When you die (and youll die a lot), youll respawn, so theres no penalty there. What it does cost you though is precious time. Many of the missions have timed objectives: If you die three or four times, the 30 or 40 seconds you lose waiting to respawn and then get back into the fight will cost you dearly. All you can do is grit your teeth and try again or dumb it down to the easiest difficulty level because the medium setting is fairly unforgiving.
The space arenas are entirely 2D and designed more like mazes rather than outer space. Theres plenty of floating debris that can block your path, such as wreckage and asteroids, but you cant hurt yourself by flying into it. Youll just slam against an invisible barrier that prevents you from entering debris fields. The camera is also close in, so you cant pull it back that far, which means you have to rely on a minimap and radar to see whats coming at you.
The 10 missions in the game are based loosely on various episodes. Theres a mission where you have to shoot down Scar, an extremely resilient Cylon Raider, in five minutes. Or theres another one where you have to fly a Raptor to rescue Colonial pilots who have ejected and are floating in space. Theres also one where you get to fly the Blackbird as you try to cripple the Resurrection Ship, though the Blackbird is hardly stealthy because Cylon Raiders have no problem detecting you. When thats done, theres an instant action mode that allows deathmatch and team deathmatch against 15 computer-controlled opponents, though these end up feeling more like just generic dogfights. Then theres multiplayer, which is the same thing, though with the difficulty of finding matches online.
The visuals are all over the place. The fighters are rendered in decent detail, but everything else is relatively low polygon and low res, such as the Galactica herself or Cylon Basestars. The sound effects sound like theyre lifted directly from the television show, so you can hear the distinctive sound of a Vipers cannons firing, though theres no voice acting whatsoever (all dialogue is delivered as text on screen). Also, Bear McCrearys wonderful and powerful Battlestar musical score is nowhere to be found, which is odd because this is an officially licensed game.
At 800 Microsoft points, the Xbox Live Arcade version is a bit pricey for what you get, but thats a relative bargain compared to the PC game, which is roughly double the cost at $19.99. At least the Xbox Live Arcade version gives you achievement points, though there arent many easy ones here. For instance, one requires you to shoot down Scar without dying on medium or hard difficulty, a really daunting task. As it is, this arcade game probably wont appeal that much to Battlestar Galactica fans because it just doesnt capture the spirit or the complexity of its television inspiration.
If only all adventure games began life as projects "to leverage core technologies in 3-D face animation." According to freshman Turkish developer Momentums Web site, the company originally set out to create a prop to sell facial modeling to TV animation, but it wound up with a really solid point-and-click adventure in Culpa Innata. Open-ended dialogue, an ambitious storyline, lots of intelligent puzzles, and characters boasting lifelike personality and motivation make this an adventure to remember. Only some fit and finish issues and some odd design decisions prevent you from getting totally wrapped up in this unusual tale.
It all begins with a story inspired by Turkish sci-fi author Alev Alatis Schrodingers Cat novels. Much of the plot centers on the World Union, a federation that has absorbed much of the West by the time that the game opens in 2047. This is the sort of government that keeps members of militia groups in the Midwest up all night stockpiling ammunition, a United Nations on steroids that protects society by turning people into automatons. Drone life isnt all bad, though. Instead of a typical dystopian video game cliché, the World Union is a blend between Brave New World and Logans Run. Life is technologically sterile, but everybody has been so hammered into insensibility by casual sex and instant gratification that they dont care. Of course, promiscuous totalitarianism doesnt sit right with the protagonist, a female peace officer saddled with the unfortunate name of Phoenix Wallis. An apparent murder of a Russian immigrant in her home city of Adrianopolis kicks off both a whodunit and a philosophical investigation into this slickly sinister future world.
Given that previous description, it probably wont come as a surprise that the game does come off a little on the pretentious side. Youre beaten over the head too often with capital-B big ideas and blunt symbolism (Phoenixs government office is in a converted church--gee, how subtle!). Social commentary on what people are willing to sacrifice for security is fine and dandy, but too often the developer hammers home its ideals without any regard for human nature. Its pretty tough to buy that the entire Western world will be populated by techno-fascist drones preaching the virtues of selfishness, genetics, and random sex in just 40 years.
Background accoutrements of this society are even more incredible. Every citizen wears a personal-assistant earpiece that projects a holographic screen in midair. Residences and offices are protected by holographic heads. Most living spaces are decked out with couches, chairs, and knickknacks that look like they were dreamed up by sci-fi filmmakers in the 70s. The predominance of paisley-style color splashes sure seem to indicate that the design team studied the interior decoration in Logans Run and Rollerball. Poor visual quality makes it harder to accept all this outlandish paraphernalia. With the exception of remarkably expressive and warm faces, the game is a mash of jagged lines and blurry scenery.
So ignoring the background to concentrate on Culpa Innatas characterization and gameplay is a more rewarding idea. Phoenix is one of the more believable protagonists to hit an adventure game in some time. Her growing suspicion about the true nature of the society that shes been indoctrinated to love is entirely credible, due to a top script and a voice actor who does a great job of capturing the peace officers blend of naïveté and pragmatism. Most of the other characters in the game are equally convincing, thanks to personalities that are restrained enough to keep them from turning into typical game caricatures (well, aside from everybodys creepy obsession with sex). Varying quality of the voice acting is the only negative. Many people speak in monotones, and some of the ethnic accents come off cartoonish, particularly the Indian immigrant early in the game who sounds like the murderous twin brother of Apu from The Simpsons.
Basic game design also adds to the sense that youre controlling a real person, since youre free to choose whichever tasks you want Phoenix to handle each working day. Some days you can get a lot accomplished, other days not so much. Getting tired and being forced to go home instead of burning the midnight oil means that the game isnt entirely nonlinear, although its still more open than the usual adventure that proceeds through chapters by lockstep.
What youre doing during these days is also somewhat original, at least in comparison to the tired old "pick up everything you see" adventure formula. Momentum has modeled the game after police investigations, so Phoenix spends her time following leads and interrogating persons of interest instead of pocketing everything in sight. This can cause the game to drag in spots, as conversations are drawn out and lines cant readily be skipped without immediately jumping to the end of the conversation. Still, most of the script is entertaining, so you dont mind having to sit through so much exposition. Youre also provided with lots to choose from in dialogue trees, giving you the ability to make small talk, press a suspect, play nice, or some mixture of all three. This variety also boosts replay value, as when you pick a conversational tactic, youre stuck with it and cant simply go back and choose all the options that you skipped the first time.
But its not like youre eternally quizzing slack-jawed yokels. When youre not playing Columbo, you collect the odd bit of junk that will come in handy down the road and also solve an incredible number of logic puzzles. There seem to be dozens in the game. Most are reasonably quick and entertaining variations on adventure-game standards like futzing around with fuse boxes, reconstructing pictures, hacking circuit boards, and the like. Nothing here is wildly original, but at least this means that you should be familiar enough with most challenges to have a shot at solving them without recourse to a walk-through. Only a scant few come out of left field, a pretty good ratio for an adventure game these days. Unfortunately, one of the most ridiculous is stuck right at the beginning of the game, where youre expected to somehow figure out that you need to use cold cream and cotton balls to expose a butterfly hidden in an engraved sign.
Considering that this is a developers first time out of the gate, Momentum has done a fine job with Culpa Innata. It could have used some visual refinements and a few tweaks to the back-to-the-future backdrops, although its hard to chide this game too harshly when it gets so much right.

I stumbled upon Tennis Master when I was looking to see what prices Amazon had for Wii games. Thinking it might be THE in-depth tennis game for the Wii I wanted to find out more. The release date was March 2008. A little too far away for me to place my pre-order. It was being produced by a company called "System 3" Naturally I Goggled that and although there were results, the ones that actually were companies were selling boats. Intrigued, I added "Tennis Master" to the search query. The results were a range of GS, IMB and other game news sites but no System 3. All the game sites said this mysterious company would be making it. Further research revealed that it had originally been a DS title. It amazes me how hard it is to find their site though. I will be keeping a eye on this game. Stay tuned for updates.
The PS3 is coming out in March this year for the UK and Europe. So naturally, advertising starts to appear in shop windows. Now normally, when a product is expensive, as the PS3 unarguably is, the advertising campaign is usually good. This is because, when the company has made such a huge investment into the product, spending money on advertising seems to be money well spent and quite trivial. So, naturally, I thought the PS3 advertising campaign would be good. In blockbuster however, they had hand drawn the words "PS3 Pre Sale; £50 Deposit". Each character was on a piece of a4 paper. Now if that isnt rubbish I dont know what is. Games was slightly better, they had printed of a black and white picture of the PS3 and stuck it on to a a2 piece of paper with "Pre-order your PS3 inside today only." This was top of the range: TYPED! That was up for about 2 weeks so whether they got not enough pre orders or couldnt be bothered to take it down I dont know.
Fortunately, there are now proper adverts up printed on a colour printer! I was going to post this before they sorted it out, but my internet broke :(. In other news: Google has released Google Docs and Spreadsheets. I think this is a sure sign they are going to make a OS or at the very least a web browser. To demonstrate I have put a spread sheet up for you all the view here. Contains details of console sales in January. Prices estimates.
Splinter Cell is a popular 3rd person stealth game that is published and created by ubi soft. It will feature a intense single player but with a twist. You are a double agent working for the bad guys. You have to choose how far you are prepared to go. If you dont go far enough they start to suspect you, however if you go to far... well I will leave that to your imagination. Furthermore the already stunning Multiplayer is going to be drastically improved. The game is expected to hit the store September 10th. Currently there have been 3 titles Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorow and Splinter Cell Choas Theory. However, I am not hear to tell you about the game I am here to discuss the games rating.
A un-offical source tipped me off that the game may be reciving a 18+ certificate. The previos 3 titles have recived 11+,12+ and 16+ respectivly. At Gamespot there has been no offical annoncement as to the games rating and the box image still says Rating Pending for both Xbox and Xbox 360 versions. However at Game, my local game shop, it claims to be 18+ on both consoles.
At ubisoft, it also says rating pending, and preumably this is the most reliable source. So in conclusion Double Agent may well be a 18+ but at current there is no reliable source certifing this. I will keep you posted.
Rakion: Chaos Force is a free-to play, real-time, online strategy-action game in a fantasy world. The game is developed by the South Korean Softnyx. Rakion is somewhat similar to most FPS or TPS with its game style. Rakion has many features similar to the classic MMORPG games like leveling up and experience gaining, summons, character customization and upgrades.
Summons / Cell System Players can summon creatures using their CP (Cell Points). There are several types of summons and each of them has different specialties.
Transformations / Chaos System In special circumstances players can transform their characters into different and powerful creatures. Most of the times you need to kill a number of monsters to transform. After the transformation your character becomes very strong, fights with new movements and groups of monsters aren’t an obstacle any more.
Classes Available classes are Swordsman, Archer, Mage Blacksmith and Ninja. The Swordsman and the Blacksmith are melee characters capable of taking and making enormous amounts of damage. They are relatively easy for newbie players. For the short time I played this game till now I took a liking of the ninja. With multiple surikens thrown at a time and fast movements, it is quite a formidable damage dealer.
Are you tired of the standard MMORPG games? Do you like to try something new? Do you like sports? Do you like street basketball?
FreeStyle Street Basketball is a sport MMO or can I say MMORPG. The game is based on the hip-hoop style of street basketball.
Gameplay The gameplay is fast and addictive. The matches are quite fun. Players obtain experience, level up, get stronger and faster. You gain in-game money after each match and with them you can buy clothes or other fun items.
Update Today GameKiss announced a major update, going to be launched on December, 15. The update will add new items, new skills, replay mode, and public mode.
